Activities
We offer a full assortment of activities built into the school day and after school to enhance the curriculum and enrich our students. Activities include:
Knitting for the Needy
Student Leaders
The Student Leaders is offered to provide a valuable leadership partnership between students and our school. It creates the opportunity for students to become effective leaders, thus encouraging and influencing a positive school climate. Students in grades 6th through 8th grades are eligible to be members of the Student Leaders.
Bellarmine Speech League
The Bellarmine Speech League is offered to provide an intellectual and cultural forum to train students in the art of verbal communication. Students in grades 5 through 8 are eligible to participate in the league. Three regular meets and one Final Meet are held each year.
Girl Scouts
There are active Daisy, Brownie, and Girl Scout Troops within our school community. Please contact contact Rebecca Mueller for more information. (314) 276-9237
Cub Scouts
Cub Scout Pack 513 is chartered by the parish and is open to those in kindergarten through fifth grade. For more information, please contact Aaron Seamands at 636-549-3010.
Most Sacred Heart Family Groups
Students in grades Kindergarten through 8th are divided into “Family” Groups. These groups gather to participate in various activities throughout the school year, promoting school community and allowing younger students the opportunity to model older students’ positive behaviors. Most popular School Family Activities include: Field Day, Game Day, and Turkey Trivia.
CYC Sports including: Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, Track, Golf
Read, Right, Run
Throughout the school year, student are encouraged to run, read, and do the right thing. Students meet bi-weekly throughout the year and run laps in the gym. The final event is the Go St. Louis Run held each spring.
