Most Sacred Heart School (PreSchool, Elementary, Middle)

Since 1948 Most Sacred Heart Parish has operated a parochial school to pass on the Faith to the children of the Parish. This transfer of the Faith from one generation to the next is one of the goals given to the Catholic church by Christ Himself. Most Sacred Heart Catholic School is committed to our core values. We Nourish the Soul, Embrace the Spirit, Inspire the Mind, Open the Heart, thereby celebrating the Most in Each Child. Besides providing religious education, sacramental preparation, liturgical experience and apostolic and charitable opportunities, Most Sacred Heart School is a Blue Ribbon Accredited elementary school which provides an excellent 21st century education in a Catholic atmosphere. From pre-school to 8th grade, our students excel.  Most Sacred Heart School is fully Accredited with the Missouri Nonpublic School Accrediting Association and is a member of the National Federation of Nonpublic School State Accrediting Associations. All teachers hold a Bachelors Degree as well as a Missouri State Teaching Certificate. Many of our teachers hold a Masters Degree and are Paul VI certified. Not only does Most Sacred Heart School have a low Student Teacher Ratio, we offer a Comprehensive Core Curriculum. We also enrich our students with Spanish, Music, Art, PE, Family Life and Advanced Technology. We also work closely with the Rockwood School District for students needing special resources.

[stm_lms_featured_teacher instructor=”7″ position=”Mrs. Callahan, Preschool 4 homeroom teacher” bio=”Mrs. Callahan loves teaching, but when she isn’t in the classroom, she loves traveling around the U.S. with her family in their travel trailer. Her 3 daughters named their trailer Guinevere, after the Disney movie, Onward, where the characters are always seeking adventure (much like the Callahans)!
Mrs. Callahan’s life dream is to visit all 63 U.S. National Parks! So far, she and her family have visited The Virgin Islands National Park underwater, The Rocky Mountains in Colorado, Arches National Park in Utah, Canyonlands in Utah, The Grand Canyon in Arizona, Petrified Forest in Arizona, Zion National Park in Utah, and Bryce Canyon in Utah. This summer they plan on heading out to Yellowstone National Park in Montana and The Grand Tetons in Wyoming.
Mrs. Callahan’s love of traveling to National Parks was sparked from her oldest daughter, Camryn, who is the biggest adventurer in her family! Camryn (5th grade at MSHS) could tell you all about the geography in the various areas they travel to! Mrs. Callahan loves learning so much through these experiences that she can then share with her students in the school year! In fact, she always ends each school year with a camping unit for her preschool class!
Mrs. Callahan’s family also enjoys camping at nearby campgrounds in Missouri in the Fall and Spring months. Summer is dedicated to their month-long endeavors around the United States, which her teaching career luckily is perfect for! She always returns to school in August with fresh new ideas from her adventures!”]

We lift to God our 8th grade day school and PSR students who received the Sacrament of Confirmation last night. May they know their dignity as God’s beloved children; may they stay close to Jesus their entire lives; and may they make this world a better place by how they live. We’d like to thank Archbishop Rozanski for celebrating the Sacrament of Confirmation at Most Sacred Heart! #nourishthesoul #mshscelebrates75years ... See MoreSee Less
